Yellow is one colour, capable of charming gods. It is the happiest of all colours, it brings with it warmth, inspiration and vitality. It means happiness, friendliness, remembrance, clarity, optimism and energy; it is the colour of the morning sun, shining bright and spreading new hope and encouragement.
In Navratri this colour signifies peace and prosperity, the goddess, worshipped is Skandamata, the mother of Kartikeya, she is said to usher peace and prosperity into homes just like the colour yellow.

The most prominent use of colour Yellow in our daily life is, with the emoji’s / emoticons we use to convey our feelings in texts and on social media, the warmth and friendliness of the colour do its work. Can you imagine a smiley in white or red or green? No! As it would change the meaning or the feeling behind the smiley.
Yellow signs signify warning; hence our road signs- drive with caution, drive slowly, turn left or turn right indicators on ghats are in yellow. As yellow is among the high wavelength colours of the spectrum it is most noticeable. Though the colour of the street lights is changing now, we all remember driving in the night, on empty roads with soft music under the yellow street lights, it put us into a happy vibe.
As the colour is so bright, it appeals the little ones too, it springs a sense of curiosity in them, and hence you see most of our favourite Lego characters are yellow. It is said to influence that part of our brain where deep thinking occurs.

It helps enhance communication, mental activity and enlightens the body and soul.
Negative Traits of Yellow
Indeed yellow is all the good things, but we cannot deny that it also represents cowardice and deceit. It shows the presence of melancholy, lack of love and even depression. It brings with it impulsivity, impatience, pessimism, complexes and detachment from an emotional perspective. It can show superficiality and criticism.
